Learning something new

I am learning something completely foreign. I have taken up the guitar. Having never been really musically inclined this will be a long process but I'm gonna give it my all. For Christmas Jen got me a really nice Johnson acoustic (with a lot of help from Eric), and he has sort of agreed to teach me a thing or two (even though I don't think I asked). I also got a computer program that teaches guitar also. I'm hoping to get good at it eventually although it is totally different from anything else I have ever learned because there is very little math or structure to it. Not at all like flying from what I have done so far. Maybe the repetition part of it, learning where to have my fingers. Anyway that's all for now.

Something New

Well I figured I'd start blogging on here since I...well I just had like 30 seconds a day that weren't filled so I thought "Hey! Might as well start another blog" I guess I should start with my standard blog disclaimer so here goes:

Well I thought I'd start my first blog with a disclaimer. An End User License Agreement if you will, for my thoughts. Sort of like the thing you click I agree on when you install new software but you didnt even read it. The sort of stuff that 10 lawyers worked for days on while trapped in a little room so that Bill Gates will get ownership of your children if you install Windows XP on more than one computer. Dont worry. I'm not after your children. My 3 are enough for me.
First off, dont be offended. Half of this stuff is intended to be a little funny. Those who know me know that I am gonna keep it light. But there may end up being things that I put on here that aren't funny. I wont put anything on to purposely damage anyone, but some things may worry some people. I may post random thoughts on here or I may get into some heavy stuff here, complete with deep breathing exercises. You probably wont find many jokes unless I think they are funny. That means that you probably wont find them funny. I may ask questions on here. If you feel like you have an answer or comment dont be afraid to let me know. If you are like "What the *$%@ is he talking about?" Say so.
Second, Do discuss what I say. I'd like to inspire conversation. Not the kind of conversation like you are standing outside my psych ward room door, discussing what meds I should be on as I rock back and forth in my own feces. Real thought provoking conversation.
Third. There will be grammatical errors (Sorry Jen). I come from the Pat Meagher School of Dramatic Arts. This means that I spit on English teachers and their teachings. I won't mean to purposely twist my words and grammar, but I'm not going to sweat it when I do. I sometimes try to write stuff in Word and then cut and paste but I cant guarantee that my idiotic ramblings will always come out neat and sweet.

I see that my lawyers have finished work on my disclaimer. They worked in record time. Only 20 hours locked in that little room and there are only 2 of them. By the way I employed the help of the prestigious law firm of Jacobs & Gregory. No, I didnt make them up. They are real lawyer friends of mine whom I actually get talk to and have dinner with at least once a year. I only wish they could have done this, it's pretty funny and they are much too serious, but they are good people.
